Having to spend too long hanging on the telephone.Receptionists are far too busy trying to cover all lines.

Thank you for your feedback, im very sorry to hear that you spent a long time waiting on the telephone. Our phone lines can get very busy, especially during peak times (mornings), however we do have an option for patients with non-urgent issues (if they don’t feel they need to speak to us today) to contact us online if they have access to the internet; the link is on our website or you can find it here https://florey.accurx.com/p/A82026. Our Care Navigators work extremely hard answering the calls that come into the practice, and we do increase the number of people answering the phones at peak times where possible, but it can get very busy. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, I am very pleased that you had a positive experience with the practice. We advise patients to allow 4 working days for test results to come back, this is to allow time for the result to be retuned to the practice, and for the GP to review it and advise. This can occasionally take a little longer, and I am sorry to hear that you had to wait a long time.

I recently tried to book an appointment with my own doctor and he was going on holiday and there weren’t any appointments available to book that far in advance. When I tried to book the appointment with my doctor again I was given an appointment in three weeks+ so I was disappointed with this long wait.

Opened up appointments further ahead in the calendar so I could have successfully booked an appointment with my own doctor at the first attempt.

Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
